Nordic Investin is recruiting a Senior Technical Product Manager on behalf of one of our partner companies. You are comfortable setting product direction when the users are developers, the constraints are technical and the value appears across many teams.
The partner is turning an internal platform into a deliberately managed product. You will define outcomes, prioritise capabilities and connect developer needs with security, operations and long term platform investment.
The team works across disciplines and expects quality to be shaped throughout discovery and delivery. You will have space to challenge assumptions, make evidence visible and improve how decisions are made.
How you will workYou will join multidisciplinary delivery rather than operate as a final approval step. The partner expects early questions, rapid feedback and clear evidence about what users and systems need. You will help teams decide what to test, measure or prototype before committing to an expensive direction.
As a senior colleague, you will own substantial outcomes and help others make stronger decisions. You are expected to recognise risk early, communicate it without drama and move work forward with practical alternatives. The role still includes hands on delivery; seniority here means broader judgement, not distance from the work.
What you will doDevelop product direction and measurable platform outcomes.
Research developer workflows and recurring sources of friction.
Prioritise roadmap work across capability, reliability and adoption.
Partner with engineering leads on scope and sequencing.
Build feedback loops using usage and operational data.
Communicate tradeoffs to teams, sponsors and governance groups.
Product management experience for technical or data products.
Enough engineering depth to discuss APIs, platforms and reliability.
Strong discovery, prioritisation and stakeholder skills.
Ability to define useful adoption and outcome metrics.
Experience working with several engineering teams.
Clear professional English and concise decision writing.
Developer platform, cloud or data product experience.
Previous software engineering background.
Product work in a complex enterprise organisation.
You may be a technical product manager, engineering lead who moved toward product or platform owner with strong discovery skills. The partner values someone who can say no clearly and explain what evidence would change the decision.
What makes the opportunity interestingYou will shape a product whose users build other products. The partner offers broad influence, complex tradeoffs and the chance to make engineering work measurably easier across the organisation.
The exact partner, employment model, compensation, start date and working arrangement will be explained openly during the process. Nordic Investin will make sure you understand the context, expectations and decision path before you are asked to commit significant time.
The recruitment conversationDuring the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional technology if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
How to applyApply with your CV or LinkedIn profile and a short note describing the most relevant system, product or transformation you have helped deliver. Nordic Investin welcomes candidates with different routes into technology and assesses applicants on relevant capability, judgement and potential.
