Nordic Investin is recruiting a Senior IT Project Manager Cloud Transformation on behalf of one of our partner companies. You can lead a cloud transformation without allowing the programme to become a sequence of technical migrations detached from business risk.
The partner is moving critical services into a modern cloud environment while strengthening security, resilience and operating ownership. You will coordinate infrastructure, application, security and supplier workstreams and keep the transformation aligned with business priorities.
Technology delivery is treated as organisational change with technical consequences. The partner expects one coherent view across architecture, security, data, suppliers, users and operations from initial scope through stable ownership.
How you will workYou will work across business owners, technical specialists, security, operations and external suppliers. The partner expects you to understand enough detail to test the plan, while keeping technical accountability with the appropriate experts. Ownership continues through cutover, stabilisation and handover.
As a senior colleague, you will own substantial outcomes and help others make stronger decisions. You are expected to recognise risk early, communicate it without drama and move work forward with practical alternatives. Seniority here means broader judgement and follow through, not distance from delivery.
What you will doBuild the integrated migration roadmap and governance.
Coordinate application, platform, security and operations teams.
Manage migration waves, dependencies and cutover readiness.
Control risks, financials, suppliers and executive reporting.
Ensure operational acceptance, documentation and support models.
Track outcomes across resilience, delivery speed and cost.
Extensive IT project management experience.
Delivery experience in cloud migration or infrastructure transformation.
Strong dependency, risk and cutover management.
Ability to challenge technical plans without acting as the architect.
Experience managing vendors and senior stakeholders.
Professional English and concise executive communication.
Azure or AWS transformation programmes.
Regulated or business critical services.
Hybrid infrastructure and application modernisation.
You may have led infrastructure, application migration or enterprise platform programmes. The partner needs someone who can create one delivery picture across technical teams and ask the operational questions that prevent a successful migration from becoming an unstable service.
What makes the opportunity interestingThe role offers significant scope, visible sponsorship and a transformation where disciplined leadership will materially reduce risk. You will influence sequencing, readiness and the operating model that remains after migration.
The exact partner, employment model, compensation, start date and working arrangement will be explained openly during the process. Nordic Investin will make sure you understand the context, expectations and decision path before you are asked to commit significant time.
The recruitment conversationDuring the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional credential if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
How to applyApply with your CV or LinkedIn profile and a short note describing the most relevant organisation, service, project or financial process you have helped improve. Nordic Investin welcomes candidates with different routes into the profession and assesses applicants on relevant capability, judgement and potential.
